that which causes legionnaires disease. And securely sealing the loft tank will exclude light and
prevent birds, vermin and dirt getting in.
The quality of stored water in a home can rapidly deteriorate if your cold water tank is
insufficiently sealed, and as this is the supply to the bathroom water with which we bath, shower and
brush our teeth. Many people also drink the water from these taps, the cold water tank also supplies
water to the hot water cylinder, which is the source of water to all hot taps in the home.

2. The fitting of a tank insulation jacket. A securely fitting lid and by-law kit which includes a
screened air vent and screened overflow vent. This will ensure your tank is properly insulated to
maintain temperatures below 20°C and that insects and vermin cannot access your tank.. ------- £70.00
If your current tank is not sutable for this upgrade then a new tank may need to be instaled, This you will be advised of before any work is carried out.
